What and where is Worship in the Park? A casual, outdoor, come-as-you-are worship service. We gather at 9:00 a.m. in Lunt Park, at the corner of Church Street and Sheridan Road.

Do I need to bring anything? Bring a chair or a blanket and your phone to access a digital worship bulletin with scripture passages and music. (You can also access the worship bulletin here [add link to that page] earlier in the weekend.

Do I need a mask? What if I’m fully vaccinated? Masks are encouraged but not mandated for this outdoor service. Masks are required for any persons who wish to participate in singing.

Do I need to sign up in advance? No, but advance registration is really helpful to the staff!. Please RSVP for the upcoming Sunday hereor you can check in that morning at the park with someone wearing a yellow Ask Me button.

Is this service child-friendly? Yes! Children are invited to an extended Time with Young Disciples in another part of the park (with or without parents) during the latter part of worship. Church staff and volunteers lead this children’s time.

Do we move indoors if it rains? Yes! Worship in the Park will never be cancelled. In inclement weather, we will move to the Sanctuary where there is plenty of room for the hundred or so worshippers to spread out comfortably. To care for each other, whether fully vaccinated or not, face masks will be required in the building.
